Welcome to our blog!

We are happy to have you as part of our local community and are excited to share with you a few tips and tidbits about our favorite vacuum: the Miele. We are also proud to share with you what makes our business different from the other local vacuum shops in town.

Local Sales & Service

CoVac Vacuums has been part of the Glen Cove and Long Island communities since 1942. At our local mom & pop shop, you can find high-quality vacuums and supplies, as well as our secret weapon: Bill, the master repair technician. CoVac Vacuums relies on Bill to repair any and all makes and models of sick vacuums, aside from central vacuum systems. If Bill can’t fix it, our team at CoVac can help you find a replacement vacuum that can get the job done.

We sell new vacuums, repair all brands, and offer supplies for all brands of vacuums, such as Panasonic, Hoover, Fuller Brush Co., Eureka!, Oreck, Dyson, Miele, Electrolux, Kenmore, Bissell, Sanitaire, Riccar, and more.

Miele Vacuums Online

While we happily sell and service all of the previously mentioned vacuum models, we do have a favorite. It’s Miele. Since Miele is our favorite, we exclusively sell Miele brand vacuums and supplies online.

We love Miele because they are reliable, easy to use, and out-perform many other brands of vacuum. More than that, Miele models are lightweight and quiet, despite being engineered with a powerful motor, an air-tight body, and a multi-level filtration system that uses HEPA filters to make your home cleaner.

Here’s a glimpse at what you can find when you shop with us online…

Canister Vacuums

We sell the Classic C1, Compact C1, Compact C2, and Complete C3 makes of the Miele canister vacuums. The canister style is not the most popular today, but it sure does make the job easy. The canister is great for carpets or hardwood floors, the swivel casters make it easy to use multiple attachments without getting tangled, and the body can sit upright to make it easy to clean stairs.

Upright Vacuums

We sell the Dynamic U1 and the Stick Vacuum models of Miele upright vacuums. What started as a canister vacuum has now been engineered into one unit that stands upright. It stills packs the powerful punch and the quiet motor. The handle on the upright models is ergonomically designed for better control, and the swivel neck gives this upright machine a unique agility people crave when trying to clean those tight corners.

From different attachment heads to new, supercharged brushes, Miele has thought of it all when it comes to boosting the performance of their already superior product. When you have pets that shed or allergies that are tough to fight, some of these additional attachments make cleaning much easier the first time around.

A vacuum is really only as good as the filter inside it. What’s the use in sucking up dust particles if the filter is too clogged to catch any? CoVac sells many different Miele vacuum replacement filters that keep the air cleaner and the vacuum running more efficiently.

Like the filter, it’s important to keep the vacuum bag empty so the dirt from the floors actually has a safe place to go. Miele bags can be purchased for the different models of Miele vacuums available for sale and are sold in one, two, or four bag packages.

When it comes down to it, we are down right proud to be the vacuum experts in Glen Cove and the Miele experts for everyone around the nation. We hope you enjoy our blog as much as we enjoy writing it.
